About API

Abraham Productions, Inc. was founded in January of 1998 with the mission of presenting first-quality Christian music events with a ministry focus. Our goal is to provide Christian events that will be an encouragement to the body of Christ through uplifting music and soul-stirring messages. As often as possible, Abraham Productions, Inc. strives to provide multi-day events where the attendee can combine physical relaxation and spiritual rejuvenation in one package. The purpose of Abraham Production, Inc. is to take exciting Christian music, place it in a concert/entertainment atmosphere without denominational barriers, offer attendees an opportunity to hear the simple Gospel message through music and for those who may not know Christ, an opportunity to develop a relationship.

Ray Flynn
President

In 1989, my employer at that time went through a significant downsizing and I was laid off from my job. My wife and I had just had our first baby and, needless to say, the future seemed a little uncertain. I was unaware, but God was preparing my heart for a ministry of Gospel concert promotions. During that time in my life, I really never knew that there was another type of Christian music other than the hymns we sang at church. After discovering a great Southern Gospel radio station, I was very excited to find out that one of the groups that I really enjoyed had been scheduled to do a concert at our church on an upcoming Sunday evening. This was my first experience seeing a Southern Gospel group "live."

During the concert at our church, the awesome presence of God was there and each song touched me and many others in the crowd. Not only the songs, but the great testimonies that the members of that group gave between the songs made seeing Southern Gospel "live" even that much more powerful. As the evening began to come to a close, the group gave an invitation and many people came to Christ and I left overwhelmed by the whole event. At that very moment, I felt that God was calling me to a ministry that could take this powerful music, place it in a public concert atmosphere without denominational tags and give the people an opportunity to hear the basic Gospel and invite them to receive Jesus Christ as Savior. Really let them experience just what I witnessed the first time I saw a Southern Gospel concert at church.

I knew nothing about promoting, but on August 28, 1992, I stepped out in faith to promote my first gospel concert at Reynolds Auditorium in Winston-Salem, NC, trusting the Lord that He would just supply my needs and that we would see people come to Christ. That night as the concert started, my eyes filled with tears as I watched God fill the 2000 seat auditorium to near capacity. The concert was great and God was moving so mightily, and then came the real test - a brief message and invitation was presented - and several people came to Christ. I knew at that instant I was on track with what God had called me to do. Now, more than 20 years later, I have been blessed to see God provide us with opportunities to minister to the masses and see growth to our concert events that have literally exploded in attendance.

I am the President, founder, and the Chairman of the Board Directors for Abraham Productions, Inc. which was formed in 1997 with the goal of providing Christian music events that encourage the body of Christ through uplifting music and soul-stirring messages and offering attendees the opportunity to hear the simple gospel; and, ultimately, for those who may not know Christ - an opportunity to develop a life-changing relationship! Currently, Abraham Productions does multi-day concert events like "Singing In The Sun" at Myrtle Beach, SC; the "Gatlinburg Gathering" in Gatlinburg, TN; the "Crystal Caribbean Cruise" Gospel Music Cruise and other single night events. Abraham Productions is also looking to the Lord for a potential expansion opportunity for another multi-day event coming in the near future!
